Fleet Management
In addition to contracted services, Monark Student Transportation Corp. also offers fleet management service. As part of our fleet management package, your school district would retain ownership of your fleet and facilities, while we would take over the day-to-day fleet operations.
Fleet Maintenance
Monark Student Transportation Corp. takes great pride in our extensive, high-quality maintenance program. Our buses are not only kept clean on the inside and outside, they are in excellent shape under the hood as well!
Every effort is made to maintain and service our fleet at the highest level possible, without regard to the cost. All of our buses are scheduled for regular, preventative maintenance inspections, determined by the bus's hours of operation, miles traveled, or the type of operation and service being provided. All our service technicians attend service schools continuously so they can stay abreast of the newest developments in today’s technology-driven industry.
Vehicle maintenance is a major part of safety. Complete service records are kept for each vehicle operated by Monark Student Transportation Corp. Routinely scheduled safety checks, as well as routine maintenance, are performed without exception. Worn or questionable parts are repaired or replaced before they can cause issues. This process begins with our management team, who is in continual contact with our school districts to coordinate and schedule trips, early dismissals, school closings or delays, as well as general correspondence. We pledge to work in partnership with our school districts to investigate and resolve disputes and complaints regarding our drivers or any other transportation-related issues in a prompt and effective manner. This may include, but is not limited to, planning and attending meetings between drivers, students, parents, school administrators or any other necessary party, as well as preparing required correspondence and resolution agreements.
We have been in the school bus contracting business for over 20 years and understand the maximum level of quality service and maintenance that every school bus and school student vehicle should receive. Our well-trained drivers have the front-line responsibility to transport your children in the safest and most efficient manner possible. Our highly trained dispatchers take full responsibility in having your buses at your scheduled stops on time, thereby ensuring a clear line of communication. Our service department’s task is to have our buses maintained and ready to operate when needed. With an extensive on-site parts inventory and service locations available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we always ensure prompt service!

Special Needs Training Available
Parents and loved ones of special needs students can be assured that Monark Student Transportation Corp. takes every precaution to make certain that the safe transportation of your child is our number one priority.
Each of our drivers who operate a lift-equipped vehicle has had appropriate and continuing training on the safe operation of the lift and wheelchair tie-downs, etc.
In addition, when any student has an Individual Education Program (IEP), Monark Student Transportation Corp. will make the necessary arrangements (e.g. inclusion of a monitor, training in the use of an Epi-Pen, etc.) to ensure the safety and comfort of our special needs passengers.
