“SAFETY” is the first priority at Monark Student Transportation Corporation!
With a comprehensive training program developed to ensure that our drivers receive continuing education on all matters pertaining to school bus driving and safety - Monark is at the top of its game!
Through our extensive Driver Training Program, all of our drivers are trained and evaluated by a Monark Driver Trainer at a minimum of twice per year. These evaluations assist us in maintaining the highest levels of driver competency. A minimum of six (6) mandatory Safety Meetings are held throughtout the school year to keep our drivers abreast of current safety and training issues. In addition, there is a dedicated and informed Safety Team comprised of designated safety officers and no less than two (2) Monark Driver Trainers at each of our Monark locations in Western Pennsylvania.
